What if either or both Robert Jordan and Terry Goodking actually wrap up their current ongoing series within whatever percieved future time, and each start a whole new series? Would you do which of the following?

Mods, please add another option: "How many more times will people post similar time wasting polls like this?"

Indeed. To keep pace with this forum as of late one must have Very little "Time" in order to view anything as contributing to a waste of it!

Why anyone would want to read their puerile trash eludes me.

Umm why lump both authors together? Being a fan of one doesn't make you a fan of the other. Makes it hard to answer the question accurately.

Well, I am apparently one of the few people who are not totally bent out of shape by how long it take these authors (and many authors for that matter) to publish their work. I would read a new series by either of these authors for the same reason I read their current work: I enjoy it.

I haven't read any Martin so can't comment.

As for Jordan, I'll probably just do what I'm doing with his current series and wait until it's finished before getting into it.

Oh and as I haven't read any Martin I'm going to wait until he's finished his current series until I even look at it. I've got to many others on the go to start anything new for a while.

I like the humour of the poll options. And I voted for Yes. If Jordan starts a new series, I'll read it, but I can't see him topping WOT.

Lucky Joe, that's an interesting theory. Martin is Goodkind. I always knew that picture of Terry had to be a fake.
