Malazan Book Of The Fallen

Could someone tell me the 'reading order' of these books, or can they be read as single books? I ask because I have seen these books in a local store, however, unlike most series they are not given volume numbers.

Or am I being a bit thick here? :(

Gardens of the Moon
Deadhouse Gates
Memories of Ice
House of Chains

you should read them as a series as well me thinks

Some people start with reading Deadhouse Gates, and then read Gardens.
Also Midnight Tides is coming out in December

NO!!!! Stick with Vladimir's order they are the publishing order an dthe way Erikson ment them to be read, plus you'll get very confused any other way

Ive read all four of 'em. Im starting to re-read GotM now... and hopefully the other three before MT comes out.

It really is a fantastic series.... one of the best, if not the best, IMO ;)
