Poul Anderson passed away in the early hours hours of Wednesday 1st August after a battle with cancer. I have many of his books, and feel as though I have lost a lifelong companion, he has entertained me a lot over the years.

Feelings are mutual, Dennizm. I didn't even know that he had cancer so it was a bit of a shock. Have you seen the post in the SF forum?

Will be missed.

Thanks Hobbit, I was not aware of the topic in the SF forum. I have been having problems with getting into a the SF and Fantasy forum... I would not have posted this had I been aware there was an existing topic, I shall let the other one take over from here.
