Okay, I've seen the Spawn comics and have heard about them before, but I've never read them. They do sound like they have an excellent plotline. But I read on a website that I think one of the members here has that the Spawn comic is geared towared an adult audience. Exactly what does this mean, what content does it have in it that makes it geared toward and adult audience?

Adult in that the good v. evil is not what you think.
Adult in that they are pretty graphically violent.
Adult in that in the first few issues Spawn brutally kills a child molestor.
Nonetheless, the first 50 or so issues are some of the best comics I've read/own.

Well, it doesn't show the child molester actually molesting children does it?

No, it just shows him looking very sinister inviting children to his ice cream truck.
However, the child molester's means of death is shown.
It does get pretty graphic, but it is some really good stuff.
Let's put it this way, I worked Spawn into my English Seminar paper, I got an A-.
