I loooove Harry Potter (he and I both have lighting-shaped scars on our foreheads!). J.K. Rowling is a fantastic writer...very grammatically correct. I just saw the trailer for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" before A.I. (hey...I liked it) and I cannot wait to see it!
Who are your favorite "Harry" characters?

I agree with Majick. Sirius, what a hunk. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif I too love these stories as much as the kids do, though I am years past my own childhood. I was drawn into the first book in the very first page. I knew I'd love it and I did! Any book that has an old, funny wizard is great by my standards. Thank you Dumbledore!
It saddens and disgusts me that people are trying to ban this book because they think it's satanic. What a load of crap! They are the ultimate quest for good to conquer over evil. How much more moral can you get?
The best part of all is that these books are creating a whole new generation of fantasy readers.

Has anyone seen the promotion trailer for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone?
I can't believe the characters that were chosen! They're not at all what I had pictured, nor do they remsemble at all the cover characters. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/frown.gif
