Okay, this is just personal interest really, but i can't help noticing that the times shown for when msgs are posted are all wrong for me. I am assuming they're correct in the states??? (Not that this irritates me or anything, honest)
Anyway, just out of interest, could people in different parts of the world say what time it is for them, when the board says 12 noon. Humour me!
For me (England) it is 6pm.
Cheers, Sammie.

Don't think so. Do they change it in Israel?

Errr, wait a minute, DennizM, are you sure you have that the right way around? The clocks go BACK in the autumn, don't they? So 6pm goes BACK to 5pm????? Sam.

Yes, they change it here too, we are usually 2 hours ahead of the UK.

At this moment in time, we are 5 hours ahead of the US... I have been watching CNN quite a lot recently... and thus I am sure of that. The newsflashes began at 14:00 in the UK on Tuesday, this was at 09:00 in NY.
It was Eastern Seaboard Time I was working on, the forum time is 6 hours behind UK... thus... you are right... the clocks go back. so it would be 17:00 hrs in winter, sorry http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Erhmmm....'spring forward, fall (autumn) back', as my dad used to say.
And by the way, it's 19.02.

Bloody Americans with their bloody wrong words (ie 'fall' instead of 'autumn')! Still, how else would we remember when the clock changes!
Errr, Hobbit, ur in England right? Otherwise that time reference just sorta hangs in space in a meaningles fashion!
Sammie.
