Who is your favourite standup comic/s?

The following are my favourite, in order:

1)Bill Hicks (The greatest comedian ever)
2)Jerry Seinfeld (you see, i'm not just a swear-a-holic)
3)George Carlin
4)Billy Conolly
5)Lenny Bruce (The god of modern comedy)
6)Sam Kinison
7)Chris Rock
8)Richard Pryor
9)Joe Rogan
10)Rodney Dangerfield

Until 9/11 it was George W. Bush. Since then I must revert to George Carlin. I doubt if his 'We are all Diseased' performance will be surpassed in the near future.

1)Billy Connolly and Eddie Izzard. No-one else comes close.

There are LOADS of other great comedians out there, i can't even remember half their names, but these spring to mind, in no particular order

Victoria Wood
Lee Evans
Alan Davies
Ronnie Corbett

Yes, marked preference for Brits, i know.
I do find american/aussie etc stand-ups funny, i just tend to find British humour funnier. Although i hear you guys in the US don't 'get' us ?

"Until 9/11 it was George W. Bush. Since then I must revert to George Carlin."

hahaha true true.

By the way can anyone explain to me the phenomenom that is George Carlin's voice.
I've got Class Clown and You are all diseased and it sounds like a different person. It's like his voice has change over the last 20 years.
