hey guys

I feel that humourous character can make a story even more entertaining. Just wondering who you think the funniest characters are.

For me, the ones I've read anyways
Silk from Belgariad
Tyrion from ASoIaF
Tasslehoff from Dragonlance - although he can be annoying sometimes

honorable mentions
Corwin from Amber
Diarmud from Fionavar

I'll second Tyrion, Silk was OK for a little while but then it just got boring.....

Mat Cauthon from the Wheel of Time. He's a very funny, very reluctant hero.

Gildor

Can't believe I forgot about Erikson...

I also say that Kruppe and Picker should be on the list:)

Tasslehoff sucks on his own. it's all about him and Flint.

Y'know, the Hound actually had me laughing quite a bit in the ASoIaF books. I dunno, the hard bastard demeanour he wears makes me laugh.

The Bouldershoulder brothers from Salvatore's Cleric Quintet were pretty funny.

"OOO!"
