Lol, the lessons were very large, i think i skimmed through most of it but sadly to no avail.

Though i did obtain a video playing Tolkien when he spoke the Poem 'Namarie' , that Galadriel said to the fellowship, when they left Lorien. It does give a very good indication as to how most of the words are used, coming from the man who invented the language :)

Nope, I can't speak a word of it - I think my mates will think I've finally gone off the deep end if I suddenly piped up speaking Quenya :D

Actually Frostmourne my comment was both a joke and a statement of fact, it works on a couple of levels. I will do my best to explain them to you.

Firstly I honestly believe that me spending time learning a "made-up" language would be a waste of valuable time as there are literally hundreds of languages in common use that I would like to be able to speak. This is the interpretation of my comment that may seem to be derogatory, that wasn't my intention.

Secondly I was saying that it is unfortunate that I have a life. I would love dearly to have the free time and the resources to be able to spend my spare time studying Tolkien's work and becoming familiar with all of the linguistic nuances that it contains, however I have to work for a living. Currently I am working full time and also putting in a lot of hours attempting to set up my own business.

So I'm sure you can see that my comment was not a "diss" as you put it, simply a comment on the substance of the thread. Yours however was not and so I would be much obliged if you would stick to the topic of the forum you are posting in and keep the spam for the Playroom.
