Only Forward by Michael Marshall Smith not only had me laughing out loud but the "character" in the book actually made me feel guilty for thinking bad thoughts about him as he actually puts the reader on the spot by asking a question to the reader referring to his lifestyle/past/present etc... (written in the first person)
I almost told the character in the book that yes I DID think he was a dickhead but I still liked him .. blah blah... :eek: But of course that would be silly wouldn't it??... :confused: ;)
Ohhh and Star Wartz by Patrick Tilley......... What a hoot..!!! :D

Stark by Ben Elton, and also Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole books.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas made me smile, as did Hitchhiker's Guide.
