I have always seen his books on the shelves, but have not picked any up. I thought this was an apropos topic, since his book Mirror, Mirror was just released. Thoughts, opinions, execrations, etc.

DrB, I read his Wicked, his retelling of Oz and the witch of the west. I really enjoyed this take on the story. They're all sort of sympathetic tellings of popular stories from the "bad" guys point of view. I have to say that I haven't picked any of the subsequent volumes up because they all look a little thin(few pages, huge print), though I am interested in reading them.
On a side note, Wicked was turned into a Broadway musical, with Bernadette Peters playing the role of Elphaba, the witch. After her role in Into the Woods, I would really like to be able to see her as the wicked witch of the west.
