Well, it's almost that time of year again - time to write the Xmas list of books that I want not quite enough to buy myself (like those expensive hardbacks) but would like to read sometime soon (and could use on the long plane flight back home).
The two on my list are:
Harry Potter - Order of the Phoenix
RJ - Crossroads of Twilight
What do you have on your Xmas list?

Great thread!
My list is long as usual. Here's what I come up with so far:
The Briar King - Greg Keyes
The Farseer Trilogy - Robin Hobb
Curse of Chalion and Paladin of Souls - Lois McMaster Bujold
A Secret History: The Book of Ash #1 - Mary Gentle
Heroes Die and Blade of Tyshelle - Matthew Woodring Stover
The Elder Gods - David Eddings
A Fortress of Grey Ice - J V Jones
Mistress of Dragons - Margaret Weis
I'm sure I'll think of others as Christmas approaches!

I'm with JohnH on the gift cards. So much easier and less bulky on the list.

That's actually by Steven Brust.
My list:
Erikson's Malazan books
Hobb's Tawny Man books (translated)
Brust's The Lord of Castle Black and The Paths of the Dead
Do you think your going to get any/all books in your list? I might get the first book in the Tawny Man series.
