Help: forgot the name of a short story

I've been trying to remember the name (and author) of the following short story but have had no luck, any help is appreciated:

The story involves a planet "inhabited" by robots who believe that they evolved and hold the word of Darwin as sacred. Interestingly enough, the heretical view held by one character is that they were made in the image of a creator.

That sounds like one of Asimovs very late robot stories, where he began to merge the robot future with the more distant "foundation" future.
