Computer/Video Games with the Best Story

I'm curious, what do you think are the games you've played that have had the best stories? Even if the controls weren't responsive, or you wish you had more weapons to choose from, or the graphics weren't fantastic, these games had you glued to the screen just to know how the story was going to end.

IMO the Warcraft series has by far the deepest most interesting story ever.

Xenogears, Final Fantasy 6 and 7, Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid all had me interested in the plot.

Without a doubt, IMO, Eternal Darkness has the greatest ever plot. Pity it didn't get out to a wide audience.

I played ED, it was awesome, IMO, it was alot better than Resident Evil.

I loved the stories in Final Fantasy VI and VII.

The story in Breath of Fire IV was interesting too.

I wish I still had time to play video games. :(

The brand new MAY PAYNE 2 has a storyline that is simply amazing. Makes other games look silly and childish in comparison.
