I'm a little bit interested, but since I'm a Jew, I don't have much drive to see it, except to round out my Scorcese. Sorry. All's I know is that if you're a fundamentalist Christian, it'll probably piss you off.

I recommend seeing this film. It was different, its not 'historically' correct, but it is a great movie in tis own right and Willem defoe is at his best in the movie.

If you want to borrow a copy I think I have it in the collection somewhere.

Just rewatched the movie and remember why I loved it so much. The interaction between Jesus and Judas was magnificent and you'll soon see why fundementalists don't like the movie.

Watch this film.

Also asks who was the true sacrifice? Jesus or his friend who was forced to send him to his death?
