I just wanted to know how you people (if you've read the books) pronounce some of the names of the "bad guys" and their cities...
Like, how would you pronounce Cthol or Cthik or something like that?

well depending on ho often they came up i'd prolly say them as ch-ole and chick:) . Totally wrong no doubt but I for one don't give a damn and i'm sure the characters don't either.:)
I can't remember the names of the bad guys:( It's been atleast 8 years since I read it.

Its funny how the mind works...I always assumed that the "C" would be silent. So that would be "Thol Mishrak" Thats how I keep my sanity while reading character names...if it sounds right to me...thats how I'll do it.

Do you mean a hard 'c'? as in crime? Rather than a soft 'c' as in city?
I pronounce them with a hard 'c' Cuth (practically without the u.....)
It sounds silly now I have said them out loud.
But any way 'cth-ol' andcth- ick
