Coming in a little late here, but...Yes, I would give this set a thumbs up. Kerr has apparently been plagued by some shoddy publishing, and yet she still managed to put out a great series. BTW, if anyone is interested and not already aware, she has four excerpts from her next book, The Gold Falcon, on her website, Deverry.com (http://deverry.com/) .

I wasn't aware - thank you and I only have one word to say over and over again "Salamander, Salamander, Salamander, Salamander"

Can I recommend Snare :)

I am about half way through the book at the moment and it's been a really good read so far.

I'm unsure though if this isnt a stand alone book.

Snare I think is a stand alone book, as is Palace which is a good little sci-fi story she co-wrote.

Just to add I would also recommend the Deverry series. Enjoyed Snare too.

Could I recommend the Polar City books,
'Polar City Blues'

'Polar City Nightmare'
Synopsis
In this sequel to the international bestseller, "Polar City Blues", blackmail and murder on two planets uncover an interstellar plot that once more jeopardizes the precarious political balance between the human-dominated Republic and the two major alien-dominated governments.
