His Dark Materials - UK National Theatre Production

Calandra

FYI - for anyone in or near London (UK), the National Theatre is doing a 2 part production of "His Dark Materials" that runs from December through March.

However, I am posting this because if you are interested, you should get tickets NOW because they are almost gone. I got some today but a lot of days are down to single tickets left.

The website is www.nationaltheatre.org.uk

There are 2 shows: Part 1 & Part 2 and apparently you can see them on the same day (if there are tickets) or on separate days.

I don't think the run has started yet, so I haven't read any reviews, but if anyone is a fan of the series and a fan of the theatre as I am, I thought you might be interested.

Yes I am a fan! and yes I live in London!

Thanks for the link!!! excellent

* Edit - oooooo what a shame. I've been to the website and theeer are no dates left with two seats left of part one that actually falls before a date with two seats left for part two. This is such a shame - maybe i will have to go alone. If you manage to find any ticket availability i woudl be grateful if you could let me know :)

Best regards

It is so expensive! My friend was going to get us tickets, but when you include the train fare to the cost, it is unfortunately not possible. Plus watching it all in one day would fry my brain. I shall just have to leave my imagination to do all the work - Let us know what you think of it calandra!
