Okay - Am I the only person who would have liked to see Tyrion take on Gregor Clegane to prove his innocence when he was on trial for Joffrey's murder?

Imagine the scene - Tyrion scampering about, desperately trying to think of some way to take The Mountain That Rides down while the mountain bears down on him in a murderous rage. This could have been one of the most exciting (albeit amusing) scenes in the entire series! :)

Did anybody else want to see this fight happen?

What I was really hoping for was that Tyrion would choose Sandor Clegane as his champion. Now, that's a fight I would like to see.

Tyrion vs. the Mountain? Ummmmm...no.

Exciting? mmm No
Amusing? mmm No

As I can see no way for Martin to write Tyrion winning the fight/ dying without making it totally unbeliavable/pointless. Tyrion has a big part to play so I don't think he'll be dying just yet. Besides, I really look forward to Tyrion meeting Daeny.

:D

It IS a funny thought, that could be interesting! But I agree with the others here, there's no way it would be believable. The Mountain is supposed to be almost 8 feet tall (which in itself is almost impossible to believe). How tall is Tyrion, 4 feet???

It would be a hilarious fight, but it probably wont happen. I think Sandor, if hes still alive, or some other person who wants vengence will kill him.

Yeah, I wait almost more for the Clegane vs. Clegane fight than the coming of the Dragons :D

I don't know I guess I would have to read it then make judgement - though if he can use his wit to win - that would be funny

I think Tyrion is done with Westoros, Sandor will kill him, I'm almost 100% sure.
