What does everybody think of the alleged "recording of hell"?

I'm sire you've all heard the story of how a while back, this dude drilled a whole deep into the center of the earth and placed a microphone down there, and allegedly heard horrible, heart-wrenching screams of agony and torture coming from what he thought was to be the depths of hell.
Well, I looked up this story on the internet and there with the story, on the website was an audio file of the alleged recording. I listened to it, and let me tell you, it scared the crap straight outta me! It scared me so much that it probably took yeas off my life just listening to that thing. It sounded real, and I mean REAL!! And when I say real, I don't mean just real, but also unreal, like as if the sounds are coming fromanother dimension! There are screams everywhere, and babbling, and strange murmurs, and someof the voices, allthough very distant sounded like they were actually saying somethiong decipherable, it sounded like something regarding to Jesus or God. I even thought I heard what soundeed like this maniacal laughter in the background. It scared the hell outta me! (No pun intended!)
I don't know if this tape is authentic or not, but since I am a Christian I do believe in Heaven and Hell, and to think that there's billions upon billions of souls down deep in the depths of the earth under our feet in everlasting torment and pain scares the bejeebers out of me!!
Here's the link, listen if you dare, but don't say I didn't warn you, because this will probably scare the living daylights out of you!:

Sorry I connected you with a religious site, but I couldn't find the original page that this was on. Come back after you've heard the clip and tell me what you think!

By the way, I don't mean to get into a huge theological debate or flame war with this, I just thought it would be a really interesting topic to talk about.

As a Christian, I believe that Hell is real.

But to think of it under the earth? You've been watching too many cartoons.

Nonsense!

Well, not necessarily in the center of the earth in this dimension, but in the center of the earth on another dimensional plane perhaps, I know it sounds odd, but allow me to explain myself. Where I'm sitting right now on this dimensional plane is a computer room, in a house, in the city of Mattoon, in the state of Illinois, in the United States.
In an alternate dimensional/spiritual plane of existence, where I'm sitting could be part of a giant throne room of a demon lord, in a demonic fortress, on a floating landmass, above a fiery sea of lava, in a demonic dimension. It may sound off the wall to you, but when you're interested in the study of metaphysics like I am, it doesn't seem so wierd.

Am a Christian myself ! I don't believe that hell is a place of existance yet , until the day of our judgement our souls will rest in peace .:)

So as for the recording , which I have heard , scary sounding , though a bit of a wank I reckon :D

try being not religious, it doesnt affect you.

it doesnt scare me one bit, and its not real, and that dude who was talking before the sounds was a cornball, obviously some religious sadistic believer, that the world will end with the drop of a Big Mac

i havent researched this, but i was under the impression that anything that got near the center of earth would melt very quickly.

haunts his dreams, what a wimp

Just a friendly reminder, no discussion of religion or politics, please. Things stay more cordial that way, fellas.......and its forum policy.

No, Jimmy, it's just simply the policy of this forum that there be no discussion of religion or politics. Such discussion can lead to a great deal of negative tension....case in point, one thread here has been closed all ready today because of flaring tempers over religious discussion.

Please abide by the policy, friends, and your help in this is greatly appreciated.

Read a book called Descent by Jeff Long, fictional but it makes you think.

Actually, Jimmy, a giant Big Mac dropping on the earth doesn't sound too bad, in fact it sounds rather tasty! :D In fact, I'm rather hungry for a big, juicy, heart-cloggin' double cheeseburger right now. :)
