Has anyone read any of this author's novels? If so what did you think of them?

They look intriguing, though a tad graphic, and seem to have a bit of a cult following (not literally I hope ;) ).

The name sounds familiar. Is he the one that wrote The Manitou?
I think they made a movie based on the book about 25 or 30 years ago.

He's written some good books, The Djinn is a good one to strat off with, as is his Night Warriors series.
