I was just wondering which album(s) have you heard, that you like every single track on. Most of the CD's I have I like, but there is always a song or two I can do without. But, there are some that just are 100% brilliant...
'Tormato' by Yes
'Four', Led Zeppelin
'Powerslave' Iron Maiden
'House of Blue Light', Deep Purple (I always get stick over that)
'Laughing on Judgement Day', Thunder
'Wishsong', John Denver (not joking!)
'Holy Diver', DIO
Try to avoid 'Best of...' albums.

Too right, Dennis! I can probably double my list at least given more time, but I'm off to work now but I'll probably log in from the laptop in a couple of hours.
Oh, here's one:
Year of the Cat - Al Stewart

I'm a little prejudiced having been a jazz musician, and I am probably older than most of the people on this message board but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ears and they are backed by a great deal of discrimination and a Masters degree in composition. For me, nothing can compare to the Focus CD recorded by Stan Getz with orchestral accompaniment. I've heard most of the modern stuff and there are no musicians alive today that can produce anything as imaginitive, insightful or beautiful, if you happen to appreciate jazz.

What the HELL does that have to do with the question... are you defending your choice... or just taking the view that all other opinions suck. I don't have a masters degree, but I know I love the above albums.
I gather you love every track on the Focus CD recorded by Stan Getz with orchestral accompaniment. I have heard this album, and yes it is good... but I do not like every track. But he is a fine tenorman, no bloody doubt about that
Now... he did a CD of Burt Bacharach compositions with McCoy Tyner(sp?), I think the arrangement was by Eddie Sauter... this CD is awsome... I love every track on this as well... bear with me...
... Got it... "What The World Needs Now..." is the CD title. The production is a bit dodgy I will admit, but Getz just just hammers it out, even in the more 'laid back' sections, you can tell this guy is just having fun, and he is totally committed to making music... talking about ears! I wish I had four of the damn things.
Johnny Dankworth... Listen to this!!!
Okay... I like jazz, but Rock (heavy metal) is, will, ever shall be... my first love...

Ahhh... What can I say? I like many albums. But, lately, the new Kamelot album, Karma, doesn't seem to be able to get off the CD-player! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif
Cry with me, Brother DennizM:
