Anyone ever order books from half.com? The prices look really nice but I would like to know what others think before I give it a go.

I use it all the time. I love it. Really cheap, just make sure you use someone with a high feedback who sounds reliable (There are plenty of reliable people on that service.)

I've used it predominantly for CDs and textbooks for class, but I've bought a couple of fantasy books there. The only problem I have with that is that if I only buy a single book, then the shipping usually doubles the price. Still a very nice place to shop, though http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

This is my primary place to buy online. The thing is, I am a fanatic neat freak when it comes to books. I just hate having dented corners and even minor creases in my beloved books. So I always search for people who describe the books condition well and the such. Another freaky thing I do is buy a book that is a part of a series I enjoy at the boookstore, and then get a ultra cheap copy at half so I can mark it up to my hearts content. Wierd? Very much so.
