Huge F1 fan here.
I have to agree with you on Schumacher. If he wins again, it'll really hurt the ratings.
I looking for Kimi to win this year. Should be a close race again with Montoya being strong.
Renault should do well, and I think Toyota will surprise some people by scoring a few points.
It'll be interesting to see how BAR will do now without JV and I'd like to see Mark Webber continue to build on his success, but I think it'll be tough.

I would like to see Alonso have a good year , he certainly showed a lot of promise last year . Of course being an Aussie I truely want Webber to run alot more strongly this year , I'm certain that with a good car from Jaguar Mark can hold his own with the usual front runners .
What ever happens , this year is looking good from where I'm sitting ;)
Off topic , but this years Moto GP is already going to be better racing than the last few years worth !!:D

I meant if he won the championship again. Here in the states, once a team wins so many championships, people lose interest in the sport, or start rooting against them.
I think if Schumacher wins again, this will happen. Here in the states anyway. Which is where F1 is desperately trying to gain a foothold.

Not an F-1 fan. It just seems like the team with the best car almost always wins, and that team is usually Ferrari. Especially since estimates place their yearly budget on their F-1 teams at $400 million, with no other team coming close. And in reality, probably only 6 drivers have a chance to win any race. The other starters, why are they even there?
To me, that's not very enjoyable. I'd love to see them tighten the cars up so there isn't so much disparity. Every year it seems to get worse.
Put Schumacher in an Ayrton Senna era car, against cars from that time frame, and see if he absolutely dominates then. If he does, then I'll know he's the best F-1 driver of all time. Until then, for me the jury's still out.

Well, teams with the most money tend to win in all professional sports especially the ones with huge global commercial repercussions like F1 or football(the real one:D ).
It's been boring in 2001/2002 with Ferrari dominating so much but last year it's been pretty exiting with the WDC and WCC title undecided until Suzuka.
My predictions for 2004:
MS struggle to retain his title and Barrichello won't finish half the races . Kimi and Montoya fight for the title. Renault get closer to the top 3 teams and Alonso get 2 wins. BAR is all big talk and will fight at best for 6th with Sauber behind Toyota (Honda blows up a least 8 engines). Jordan and Minardi struggle to finish the season (financially). And Ford quit F1 while their global reputation plummets due to the pitful result of Jaguar( Webber is a good driver though):D
Edit: it seems other teams tried that nose concept and weren't convinced. It sure is ugly though:p .Now waiting for that revolutionary nose Todt promised for this year( the one at the launch was a classic one  )

Yes, didn't they say that the car will look "very different" for the Australia race?
As for your predictions, I think you are spot on.:)
