Hi
I will be graduating college soon, and am considering joining the Peace Corps for a spell. I was just wondering if anyone here has served with them, and how they felt about it.

thanks
kyle

The peace corps are comprised of roughly 65% women. Also, joining the peace corps grants you 50 automatic heaven points. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif I say do it.

Well I'm German and we don't have the peace corps as such, but after High school I worked as a volunteer for a independent living sceme for the disaibled in London. We got a flat to live in and enough pocket money to live on it too (though I spent a lot of aditional money to enjoy London http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif ).

It was a really good experience and I reccomend doing something like that.
