I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of him before. He, or course, writes fantasy novels.

I just bought one of his books, and I'm wondering if I should continue reading his books, since Martin probably will be dead before his next book comes out.

since Martin probably will be dead before his next book comes out Ah, shame on you. You call that optimism? I'm sure we'll all be dead first! From impatience :)

Don't have an answer to the Lawhead question. But I do want to second it. I bought ALL of his books at a discount store for like 5 bucks all together. That was... oh... a year ago? And I've still not started on them, because.... well, I keep wondering this very thing. Is he any good?

:)

I've only read his "Paradise War" and "Pendragon"(i tink that's the name) trilogies. Both series were great reads.

Which book did you buy?

I got the Pendragon ones. You say they're good?
Oh.. jeez... now I'm gonna go find them and sit there and feel guilty for neglecting them. Hmmm....
