Just curious to know who draws other people's attention away from our favorite genre...

Here are mine:

Stephen King
Tom Clancy
Michael Crichton
John Grisham
Jean Auel
Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
Robert Harris

There are others whose books I'll pick up once in a while, but these are the ones I read at least semi-religiously http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Warewolf: this is moved to General Discussion. There is a topic similar to this, though it may be a bit buried.

Dean Koontz
Jeffery Deaver
Patrica Cornwell
Micheal Crichton
James Patterson

James Clavell!!
Umm, I read lots of other authors, but usually only one book by them. There's only one book in the Asian Saga I haven't read yet though, Noble House.

Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, James Herbert, and a lot of non-fiction, mostly of a historical/archaeological nature....

I went through a phase of reading loads of Stephen Laws but more generally:
Tom Clancy
Larry Bond
John le Carre

And by the way, who's Robert Ludlum. I know I've heard the name but I can't for the life of me remember who he is.
