What kind of car??

This is a totally worthless topic just to be silly (I don't want to be accused of being to serious or anything!). I've actually been thinking about this for awhile, but now I'm just bored enough to post the query to the board.

A persons choice of transportation can say a lot about them and I was mulling over what kind of cars (or whatever) you think that fantasy characters would drive if they were in OUR world. I told you it was a worthless question!! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif My husband is also a car nut (lug nut?), so I tend to think of everything in vehicular terms.

The one that started me on this train of thought was Gandalf. I really see him driving a steel gray Dodge Viper. It's cool, and super fast.. good for all that cross-country traveling he has to do!

Jon Snow- Something rugged.. a hummer maybe

Fizban/Zifnab- Something ridiculous.. an old VW bus with peace signs and bumper stickers all over it!

Gerald Tarrant- something sleek and black with tinted windows.. BMW 7 series or a Lexus

Ce'Nedra- as one of the most irritating characters ever created, she'd have to drive something equally obnoxious. Probably some huge SUV like the Excursion.

I'm blanking out on more appropriate character/car combinations, so feel free to add to my list!

Citroen 2CV was designed as a car to replace cattle in the service of the French peasants. With the concept dating back to the 30s of the last century, 2CV became a national bestseller almost immediately of going on sale.

It was a simple, ugly car that was given no chance by the critics that valued the car in superlatives. But for the common Frenchmen, 2CV was a highly affordable and highly reliable miracle that revolutionized the life style of the middle class. The vehicle's popularity was so high that waiting lists stretched for years and tens of variants were subsequently released.
