Someone recommended this book but it's hard to find a decent summary about it. I'm always aler when Merlin is in someway involved http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Is this book about him or is it something like those Merlin's descendants books by Irene Radford?

Merlin's Ring was a sequel to a couple of books that were later combined as Merlin's Godson which is about about a Roman centurion who follows Merlin to America after the fall of Camelot, and winds up fighting a Aztec/Toltec type empire. Gwalchmai, the centurion's son, loves and loses Corenice, the last survivor
of Atlantis. She dies promising that they will meet again. You don't really need to read this to enjoy Merlin's Ring.

"Merlin's Ring" is about Gwalchmai's life (greatly prolonged by Merlin's magic) in the millenium that follows. He makes his
way through history — English, Viking, Chinese, Japanese, French — meeting several times the reincarnations of Corenice.

Arthur, Merlin, Excalibur, and Elves all make appearances

Violet Books has an interview with Munn. http://www.violetbooks.com/Munn.html

While you're there check out some of the other excellent essays on their website

Yes, I found that review on the Net as well. Sounds interesting enough I suppose. I'll check out these essays, thanks. You had an interesting article in the Books forum of mighty TORC the other day as well (about a week ago I guess).

I cannot resist Arthur, Merlin and Elves of course.

Good ol' Warner Munn. The books are worth checking out, although I don't remember much about them, it was a while ago. Jessica's interview in Violet Books is interesting, I am a frequent visitor to her website (and buyer!).
