A question for readers of the X titles

I stopped reading comics about 5 years ago, and am only just really getting back into them.
When I stopped reading, there was a title running called Mutant X, which dealt with Havoc being in alternate universe after X-Factor finished up.

I notice Havoc is now back in the real world.
So my question -
Can anyone fill me in on how he got back?

Mutant X got cancelled way back. Anyway, turns out that Alex's body one day appeared somewhere (not sure where) and when we catch up to it, he's currently in a nursing home or some such in a coma. Somehow (I forget), the X-Men find out and bring his body back to the mansion along with the nurse who was caring for him and her son. Turns out, her son is a mutant and somehow brings Alex's spirit back from wherever it was and back into his body. The end.

So how did Mutant X finish?
Did he turn up straight after Mutant X finished or was he missing for a while?
