I mean no disrespect to anyone on this board with this post, so please forgive me.

When I'm saying that this conversation is moot with me, that's *exactly* what I mean. WITH ME. I'm not saying nobody else can use the information on this thread. It's just ME.

I've been trying to withdraw from this conversation because due to an ADMITTEDLY ill-advised airing of MY PERSONAL OPINION on Stephenie Meyer, I've become the bubonic plague in this thread.

After I post this I'm deleting all my posts in this thread, since I am apparently persona non grata. I now return you to your own conversation, minus me.

Nobody objected to your personal opinion about Stephanie Meyer's writing, DC. In fact, I would imagine a lot of other members here share that opinion. The objection was to the claim of what Meyer had done to the market and of what was happening in the fantasy market, which many of us found to be erroneous and made our arguments on that point.

There was utterly no reason to remove your posts, though it's your choice. If you were doing anything that broke the forum rules, I would have told you. But we were simply having an argument. People disagreeing with you does not mean you have bubonic plague.

In fact, you may have noticed that there is currently a thread in the Writing Forum labeled "Tell KatG Not to Look," presumably because it is assumed that I will argue with the subject of the thread. Hereford Eye, who started the thread, may worry about losing an argument with me, or even about getting into an argument with me, but he's not worried I will treat him as a pariah because he disagrees with me about something.

And yes, you can stop arguing about a topic at any time, so we'll leave it at that.

My first novel was 100K. The publisher wanted it below 300 pages (for cost reasons) so we ended up with a word-density of around 400 words/page.
