NPR's Science Friday will be broadcasting from the Science Fiction Hall of Fame (or museum or whatever they're calling it) in Seattle, this afternoon.
I think the program starts at 1 pm CST.
It'll probably be archived at the website if you miss it. www.npr.org

Thanks for putting that up AutiePam. I meant to yesterday. Just so everybody's prepared, it sounds like the topic is "Science and Science Fiction about Mars."

You're welcome. :)
Has anyone been to this SF Hall of Fame?
I used to live in Seattle, and for awhile I visited every year, but I don't plan to go back for awhile. Might change my plans if this place turns out to be something special.

One more reminder on this one with a few more details:
Just a reminder, Science Fiction was covered on Talk of the Nation (http://www.npr.org/programs/totn/), Science Friday today.
Audio link can be found at: TOTN SF Show (http://www.npr.org/rundowns/rundown.php?prgDate=18-Jun-2004&prgId=5)
They talked about some of the issues that many of the recent threads in the fantasy forum have been covering. Guests included Octavia Butler, David Brin, Greg Bear, and Gregory Benford -- what I heard was interesting, still need to check out the full show.
For anyone who stumbles onto this one several months from now, that's the June 18th show.

That was a great broadcast about the science and science fiction of Mars. Everybody needs to take 45 minutes and listen to it sometime.
