Plz Plz Help Me!!!!!

Back in '95 while i attended college at Plymouth State College i read a book about a race of aliens that resembled rabbits. They landed on earth and lived under a mountain for many generations. At the end of the book they are found by a young boy who introduces them to the world. I thought the name of the book was queqol but i cant seem to find it anywhere on the web.Can someone please help me with the right title and the author. Thank you all for your help.

The book is Quozl, by Alan Dean Foster.

Quozl is one of my favorite light SF novels. I still re-read it from time to time as the mood strikes me. :)
