Thought I'd let you all get a head start to join the new "Community Section", this will basically be the new submission system for poetry and stories. It's a work in progress and so far both the Poetry and Stories part are ready.

Some of the features so far:

Post and maintain your own work
See the changes instantly, no need for acceptance.
Rating of poems and stories, also that instantly
Readers can submit comments

Register here:
http://www.sffworld.com/community/register.php

See the new Community front page here (will be made more offical after a few people have joined and there are some content):
http://www.sffworld.com/community

...and once you've registered each users control panel can be found here:

Great new feature, Dag!

I just knocked up a quick poem and the process worked perfectly.

Don't worry, Madame Administrator... we've had Haiku in the Funzone for ages. You can always exercise your poetic bent there.

Well, just finished the Stories part also :). Haven't done any extensive testing, but everything should now be ready for those who want it to start posting their stories.

(... more to come, but now I need some sleep)

Is there any way to edit your already existing stories?

Not as far as I know, but you can ask an Admin to remove them and you can put them up again on the new system. Once on there you can edit them, just click on the required story link on your personal profile, make the alterations and hit the save..

Ok I have been doing a little playing on there to see what I can and can't do.... ;)

Just let me know which stories and/or poems you have in the old system and I'll get them imported into the new one for you :).

So the new system adds story-links to your profile? That's very convenient.

One story:

Edward Vitasek - The Glauph

Thanks :)

Not your forum profile, the one you get when you register on the link Dag has put above for story submissions. *g*
