I remember seeing a preview a couple of months ago, and I haven't seen a thing about it since. It looked really cool, and I'm glad to hear that someone liked it. Is it playing in the U.S.?

This is coming out in the U.S. this weekend. Anyone else going to see it? From the previews that I've seen it seems to have the feel of the 13th Warrior (I know that this movie is generally disliked, but it is one of my favorites). Also the fantasy element of heros going after some other-worldly, mythical beast. I think I'm really going to like it, but I'll post back this weekend after I see it.

I liked 13th Warrior! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'll always go see a movie with Vikings in it.

Alucard, I'm dying to see your review! Simply can't wait. I will base my viewing decision on what your review says. Plus I will pass it on to my Brother, who just today told me in an E-mail how excited he is to see this movie...

I've been eagerly waiting for this movie for six months, and I finally saw it today. Unfortunately, I have to be honest and say that I'm pretty disappointed. It was a great idea, but poor execution.

There were some cool concepts, some great cinematography, and the fight scenes were pretty impressive. For all it's strengths, it just came up short with me. It tried to follow too many storylines, it was too long.. or it felt that way with a lot of scenes that dragged. Not a total waste of time and money, but not what I was hoping for either.

Is this movie in English Subtitles or do the actors speak English in the film.

Subtitles in English, thank goodness. I can't stand to watch dubbed movies.. unless it's for their comedic value (Godzilla flicks, for example).

Ah dubbing. That which, to me, makes 70's kung fu movies the masterpieces they are.
