Has anyone here read Conqueror's moon or the just-released sequel Ironcrown Moon by Julian May?
Any thoughts?
It seems to me it would be a series that appeals to fans of Keyes, Hobb and Williams in particular, though fans of epic fantasy in general should probably take a look at this one.

Not really, but I truly enjoy the series.

Can anyone give any more insights? I picked this up on a lark a long time ago and never read it. Just stumbled across it again and can't find any reviews on any sites I trust. Anyone care to review?
