I loved B5.. even though they should have stopped after the end of the shadow war. Still, I think it's one of the coolest SF series I ever saw on TV.

Well, Carmichael, it's poorly presented, unoriginally produced, consumer driven trash, of course http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif...but, above all else, I think my REAL problem with the X-files is that it's BORING. And that's the crux of the matter. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

For those who saw Crusade and were disappointed you should have read the two unfilmed scripts Joe Straczynski posted on Bookface.com before it shut down. The show was really heading in a completely different direction, exposing some surprising secrets. The show had a LOT of potential. I think a lot of the bad qualities of Crusade were due to the intervention of TNT suits who felt that while B5 was a huge success without their interference, the new show couldn't help but benefit from their input.

That answered my question...

Much grass Sammy. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

They did have a habit of doing weird creature of the week stories. I much preferred the Lone Gunman spinoff. Funny show.
I really can't say much, as I stopped watching X-files after 3rd or 4th season. Just didn't have time to watch it as I had to get up to go to work the next day. I tried taping itfor awhile, but never mustered any interest in actually watching the tapes.
So, apparently I agree with you on that Sam.
Scary, isn't it?

X-files sook!
(so sue me! )

(In authoritative voice)
Ms. Sammie, here is a summons for you to appear in court in the case of "Shehzad vs. Sam82". The plaintiff alleges that you used the term "sook" in reference to the series heretofore known as "The X-Files". Please appear in court on...blah blah.
(END authoritative voice)

I beg to differ.
