Hey mods, can I post a game? It's referenced to movies so... (and hopefully it'll get some action to this forum). I know, I'm bored actually.
Basically, it's called (here anyway) 'Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon'. The idea here is that Kevin Bacon, though he's not as famous or popular as some American actor, is rather proliferate in his roles. Mostly supporting, true, and a few where he's the major protagonist.
Anyway, the rules of the game are: one person cites any modern actor (or actress) and the other person has to link Kevin Bacon to that actor/ actress through other actors/ actresses that Bacon has worked. However, you have to do this within six (6) actors/ actresses named.
For example, link Kevin Bacon to... Jack Nicholson. This one's easy:
1. Jack Nicholson to Kevin Bacon, the movie 'A Few Good Men'
How about someone harder like... Russell Crowe:
1. Russell Crowe to Joaquin Phoenix, 'Gladiator';
2. Joaquin Phoenix to Nicole Kidman, 'To Die For';
3. Nicole Kidman to Tom Cruise, 'Far and Away' or 'Days of Thunder'; and
4. Tom Cruise to Kevin Bacon, 'A Few Good Men'.
So, any takers? My first challenge: John Travolta. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
P.S. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. The person who cites the less degrees wins the challenge.
