Postage and such

Since I've decided to do a little more freelancing, I need to get copies of magazines. Granted, some of the stuff listed on WD I can pick up at my local bookstore, but what about the sample copies? Does anyone know what size envelope to get for magazines and how much postage for each envelope? Another thing, I don't suppose anyone knows how long it takes to get the sample copy? Appreciate the help.

Ask your post office about 4th Class media rates (slow but cheap). Most magazines are 8 x 11 inches, buy envelopes to fit that.

Oh, btw - great place to check out free copies of many different magazines is your local library. Might be faster than asking for free samples.
