Hi Tari - The proper term is "tetralogy". But many people just call a four book sequence a quartet, which is easier to remember...
Personally i like the quadology better :D but tetralogy? u gotta wonder who comes up with these things i mean in maths 2day we learnt some thing called a Logathism?!???!!!!  Meh? wat da? i agree quartet is alot easier to remeber and thats wat i though of first.

All right, Maniacal Miss Gemini, you hold her left arm; Te-tari-logy, you hold her right.
Ok, ducks - foot massage attack!
(Bet you've never fantasized about a duck foot massage, now have you?) :)
(Hmm, I do believe we've strayed a bit from the thread topic of Alison's books, though... Any new readers strolling along in here are going to come away with a terribly wrong impression.)
Ok, back to serious book topics...

Serious book topics... - as a bunch of keen divagators is there any hope of any of us remaining on-topic anywhere? Well, I guess I speak for myself here, I know I'm hopeless.
This whole thing suddenly reminded me of that Monty Python sketch of Alastair Cook being attacked by a duck. I must go and listen to it again.
I am now in deep cover, under my new identity as a fire-breathing possum in the Flinders Ranges - drat - gave that away -

You're a brave woman, Merenwen, to dive in among these nuts. I mean, they're talking about duck foot massages, for godsake. (Though I still like the idea of a foot massage, Rad, feeling a bit less pathetic today - had rotten flu recently. Might account for the madness, maybe, on my side anyway...)
Glad to hear that you're spreading the word in Scotland...should I feel guilty that you're talking about Pellinor in class instead of doing what you're supposed to? I'm not very good at feeling guilty.
