Hey.
Just thought i'd say that The Gift is the best fantasy book i've read since LOTR. I only got it yesterday and just finished it this morning. What the heck is this thing with ducks and massages??? i know that chickens r gonna take over the world but i didn't have a clue that ducks were that clever! :)
anyway, cant wait til may 1st, thinking of ordering it online, but might have to borrows parents card!

Gotta agree with you there, i was going to say that they're the best books i've read since LOTR. And I'll boast by saying that I'm relatively well-read.
Oh, and I wouldn't worry about chickens- I've got a few in my back garden, and they're incredibly stupid- cute, but stupid. My crazy persian kitten though...an entirely different story. Evil little bugger. ;)

Woah! Sirion and Mrs Cadvan, you do say the nicest things. That's the kind of thing people say in your daydreams. Thanks so much! Not that it puts any pressure on for the rest of the story or anything. :) All I can say is that I'll do my absolute best not to disappoint anyone who's read so far.

The outbreak of duck madness was, er, nothing to do with me. I think...
