Hi all - sorry I'm a bit absent at present - trying to finish a radio play and myriad other things taking my attention at present. Hoping to be back on board in the next couple of days -

As for Cadvan - he knew what he was doing was wrong - he had had years of training in the ethics of the Balance, after all. He thought, given his abilities, that he was above it, and that such ideas only applied to other people; and that was his actual sin, in terms of Bardic law and lore. The death of Ceredin and the other disasters, terrible though they were, were a result of his ignoring those other laws.

Hmm this is a tricky one yes i think he should have know better because it was beaten into him his whole life, but i think he was also mislead by lukid(is that right?) as to how dangerous it was.ofcourse he didnt want to kill the love of his life...It was a case of the green eyed monster he was jealous of darnhill because he thought he was better than everyone else and here comes someone who is better at something than him.He acted rashley but i think it was a good thing that atleast someone stood up for him and made sure he wasnt banished like mirlad(i think thats it).

Cant wait till ur back alison.bye for now guys.

lol it certainly was a challange!
I finished it after stayin up half the night as i cudn't put it down.

1thing i kind of wish when maerad found out cadvan was alive, tht something happened between them. And when she told him tht she loved the winterking maybe sum more emotion from him tht lets us see more of his love 4 her!!
tht's just my view...

hi well this is my first time on here and i am from England. I have only recently became a massive fan of the books but because it is my GCSE's in few weeks time my mum has band me from reading any type of book(except for revision guides, but they are so boring). And so i am unable to get the Riddle for about six weeks. It is so not fair :(
