Yeah me too, I wondered if anyone was
saying Tear-ant or some variations, I wonder if Friedman has made any statements on the correct pronounciation

Tar (as in "Tara" without the a at the end)

ta (like the ta in "tandy")

i would think theres obvoius variations due to people's differing accents...

I would pronounce it like tar - runt kind way. With a being kinda like french letter a.
