ok the first book was a book i read a long time ago whci was sorta based ona lot of myths and legends. It also had song in it . One was about robin hood along the lines of " green leaves....." and i think donaldson wrote the forward.
The second book i am trying to find i think is a forgotten realm series (not sure) based on a guy who worked at a shoe store and got sent to a magical land . His ID/Jester thing comes to life and he meets a lizards wizards and they fight in this land of chaos.
If you know the title of these books and the name of whatever series they might belong to (the forgotten realsm one seemed to be more a sequel than a beggining) could you plz help me
