Easy Cats :D

I was hoping someone here would be able to help me please.

I was thinking of getting the Talking Books of the Anne Rice Vampire series.

Then I found out that this series intertwines with her The Mayfair Witches series.

So I was hoping that someone had a definative reading order?

Many thanks :)

Hey Unc :D

Another quick question (hope you don't mind).

Where do these books fit into the whole mix

The Feast of all Saints
Cry To heaven
The Mummy: or Ramsus the Damned
Servant of the Bones
Violin

Nowhere. They're stand alones that have nothing to do with the Vampire Chronicles or The Mayfair Witches.

The Feast of all Saints, Cry To heaven, and Violin didn't interest me enough to read them. I thought Servant of the Bones and The Mummy were some of her best work.

Do you know which books are combinations/tie-ins for the vampire AND witch books? Is it just Blood Canticle? Or Merrick? Thanks!

Blackwood Farm is the first where Rowan and Micheal (TMW series) tie in with the Vampire Chronicles. I can't even remember what Merrick was about. (Yes, it sucked that bad.) Most of the books in the Vampire Chronicles were good, but there were a few that were absolutely horrible. Some are top notch. Anne Rice is kind of hit and miss with her work. I have both series in their entireity, although I'll probably never read some of them again.

I really enjoyed the first 5, and I read a few more that gave nice backstories (Pandora, Armand). But my favorites were The Vampire Lestat, and (for some reason) Tale of the Body Thief. Loved those two!

They've just climbed a notch in my eventual re-read list.

Hi

I loved the Mayfair books, but havent read Blood Canticle or Blackwood Farm.

Can anyone tell me if they add much to the Mayfair story or if they are mainly Vampire Chronicles?

Thanks.
