Wow, Gary... not only did she enjoy your books, you managed to create a new fantasy fan! That is no easy task and every author should be grateful to you for that.

Well, I knew that you were a talented dancer, but this is really impressive.
Seriously, congrats.

umm. . . Hi. I'm the person who wrote those reviews, and I'm the new fantasy fan. :D Gary, you are faboo!
i don't want to hijack this thread, so maybe i will start another thread on the evolution from "hard core scifi fan", to "scifi/fantasy fan, and loving it".
Gary, I told you I'd get here!! :D

Well Gary, the 3 remaining books The Awakening, The Shards and The Revenge Of The Elves arrived today in the post. You seem to have some pretty encouraging reviews to date so I hope that I can add to the momentum. I will be doing a single review of the first 4 books looking at major story arcs, themes, prose etc...and I plan to start this weekend by revisiting part of The Twins before forging ahead with the other books.
Any idea when Book 5 will be out?

I'm half way through the book, and the first half has been edited as well. It will be a while still though. I know where I'm going, but that could change as I get there. This is the harderst part of the series - ending it.

Just don't do a JK on us and plunder yourself into the pits of depression when it's all over, Okay?:D
Reading on the other Thread in the main forum, Redhead was talking about other series, and, if I may, I really liked what Feist did with his. He had the traditional 3 x 3 book set of series, and then he wrote other series which fitted in between those, Like Daughter of the Realm etc. and to me that was quite exciting, because you could read them and know what they were talking about. I also liked when he wrote single novels about a character, like Jimmy the Hand, which explained him a bit better, etc. not that we want you to copy him, but yes there are so many avenues open up to you to link on to the original story, but not be a follow on, if you know what I mean.
