And I won't be starting book 2 right away. Don't take that comment the wrong way.

I've read a great deal of fantasy in my time. I can't always read straight through a series, but have done so with a few. This is one that requires great lengths of pondering and time to absorb all the ramifications of the events that transpired. All the characters need to find their own little nook in my head to allow me to 'grok their fullness'. That was much heavier than I'd expected from a fantasy novel.

Just two words. Well Done Gary!

I'll let you know when I get my nose into book 2.

Thanks. Coming from you, the compliment is meaningful.

I'm warning you though, it gets darker and more serious as you read on. This isn't fantasy fluff.

Amazon.com could use some reviews Maus, if you're of the mind!! Gotta get the word out, you know.

I've added my voice, Gary.

Slightly different approach, I hope you like it.

Wow! You guys are too much. After writing for so many years and never really getting the chance to know if what touches me, will touch others as well, maybe you can imagine the gratification I get by reading your words. Other authors tell me all the time not to read reviews, but they are like drugs, and no matter how hard you try to avoid them and shield yourself against the temptation, knowing that the chance for satisfaction is at best dubious, it's impossible. So thanks for helping me to beat the odds.

I'm of the opinion that you'd beat the odds with or without our help. Word of mouth will spread. Put away your fire extinguisher, this wild fire is gonna roll.

How do you know God didn't send me? :D

In a way, I suppose he did, right?

So are we all now believers?

Maybe, I'm just against this whole 'God will provide' viewpoint. It reminds me of that story where the Christian is drowning and a boat comes past trying to help and he says 'God will save me' then a jet ski comes past, 'God will save me' then a sail boat comes past 'God will save me' and when in heaven the guy asks God why he let him drown and God says 'Dude, I sent a boat, a jet ski and a sail boat, what more do you want!!!'
