Not to give you pressure Scott, but when can we expect to see the next book in PoN on the shelves?

Pressure's fine, now that I'm almost finished the first draft!

There's no solid date yet, but it looks like it'll be 'round the year's end - likely January - for the American and Canadian releases, and the following spring for the UK release.

Wow that's an enticingly short wait. Would be something if you had your whole trilogy out in the time it took GRRM to write Feast for Crows...

grrm is taking quite a while to write feast but remember king with his dark tower 4? took him 7yrs.

just wanted to say to Mr. Bakker again (i post in 'the three seas' forum too), your books are the best books i've ever read, period. great stuff and can't wait for the next. i hope i don't sound too pathetic but your books really affected me in a positive way. thank you.

But King wrote many books in that time....Martin is only working on one.

Thank you, painbird! Hearing from readers who have been changed by what you've written is like heroin to writers :D

For me it was Herbert's Dune way back when.

Sounds like we have cats in common too! Keep ann eye on that PB - my mother-in-law was recently hospitalized because of a cat bite.
