Some. Usually Orbit/the design company will come up with the initial concept.
Then I get to have my input. For instance the female face: intially there was no 'web' over it and Darren and I agreed that she needed to look more mysterious.

Hi All,

For anyone that might be interested I am just about to deliver Book 2 of the Sentients of Orion series to Orbit. It will be on the shelves late next year.

I'm hoping to have a few weeks break and catch up on all the SFF World news.

I received Book 2 from the series - Chaos Space - yesterday, bought from BookDepository and I read about 50 pages so far and it's excellent - I have 4 *must* books that I am juggling reading for now, this one, Judging Eye - Bakker, Dragonfly Falling - Tchaikovsky, Riddler's Gift - Hamerton

I expect to finish it within several days and post more impressions.

Well Mirror Space is in stores now - so I'll look forward to hearing what people think. I'm just finishing up book 4 now and getting ready to send it. It's hasn't been easy to write, but it's stretched my mind and I like that.

I hope the reward is there for you all too!
