Thanks to Steve Savile (a fine horror writer himself), I now have in my possession:
Daemonic
The Wyrm
Spectre
Ghost Train
Macabre
For less than a quid each at Ebay.
I love Stephen Laws books, Chasm and Daemonic in particular.
Anyone else a fan of this underrated horror writer?

I love Stephen Laws books, Chasm and Daemonic in particular.
Ever since I first heard about it I've thought Chasm sounded good. I wish Leisure would put it out in the U.S.

I came across Stephen Laws Chasm by accident and it remains one of the greatest books Ive ever read, but i cant find any of his others anywhere, if you like brittish writers check out James Herbert, his books 'RATS' and '48' are brilliant.

I finally managed to grab a copy of Chasm off of Ebay after seeing it recommended a few times on here and just finished it earlier this evening.
No joke, this is by far the scariest book I've ever read. To me, his writing completely surpasses anything I've read from Stephen King. In fact, this book made King's stuff look like child's play to me.
I never thought a book could scare me. I stand corrected now.
I'm off to track down more of his books.

I think Daemonic is his best, check it out.
I love the scale of the thing and it was pretty scary too.

I haven't read Laws yet, but I do have an FYI: Peter Jackson's movie _The Frighteners_ is based on Laws' novel of the same title.
I've heard good and bad, mostly good, though.
